A quick drawing of how I imagined Toph would feel watching over Lin from heaven or wherever she may be (and yes I know she’s blind but I believe that in heaven she’d probably be given sight because…. it’s heaven). I actually cried today at the part where she got her bending taken away. Real tears rolled down my cheeks today.

Reblog if you still like Mako.

You see, the reason I like Mako is because he’s a character that actually gives me mixed feelings about liking him. Love him one minute, and then think he’s a jerk the next. I always enjoy a character that leaves room to like him or hate him, and for me, Mako does just that. Bravo, Mako. Bravo for screwing around with my image of you in the best way possible.

Lin Beifong, you’re my hero.

Again I’d like to point out how bending helps to shape your identity. It makes you who you are. For her to give up a large part of who she is - as police chief, daughter of the infamous Toph Bei Fong - she was making an even greater sacrifice than we think.

I just… accolades. Accolades for Lin Bei Fong.

I do not cry over the lost of your bending I cry because you did what you had to, to protect those you love and care.
